Brass Laurita spiral earrings

Price:  £9.00

These elegant brass earrings are designed and crafted by Cinthia, Nieves and Cristina, three rising stars of our Zoe Project in Lima, Peru.

Subtly textured ribbons of golden coloured brass are wound and twisted to make these gorgeous spiral earrings.

We work collaboratively on the design of all our products with the artisans who make them. By teaching the fundamentals of design, we give the artisans that we work with the tools to take an active part in the product development process, encouraging a sense of pride and ownership in the work.

The earrings are set on hypoallergenic ear wires and measure approx 5cm.

Just Trade was founded in June 2006, initially to provide a route to market for Zoe Creations, a struggling fair trade project in the shantytowns of Lima, Peru. The company was born out of first hand contact with real people in the developing world and the recognition that in order for such projects to be sustainable they need a long-term route to market for their goods.

Combining traditional craft skills and materials with expert knowledge of contemporary jewellery, we have developed ranges of unique, characterful pieces with strong appeal in the European market. From exquisite crocheted silverwork to beautifully carved tagua pendants, our distinctive products are made with care and skill from locally-sourced and ethical materials where possible.

We work collaboratively on the design of our products with the artisans who make them. By teaching the fundamentals of design, we give the artisans that we work with the tools to take an active part in the product development process, encouraging a sense of pride and ownership in their work.

We believe this collaborative approach makes for better products, and a happier, more fulfilled workforce. Together, these make for a sustainable business model.

Plus, it’s fun. We organise competitions (what better way to find the perfect design for a crocheted bee?), and encourage the artisans to try new things and come forward with their own product ideas. New skills are learned and shared, enabling the projects to grow as knowledge spreads among the communities.

Christmas Deliveries

November and December are the busiest time for our postal service and orders which are sent First Class, as all your All's Fair purchases will be, can take several days to arrive instead of the usual 1-2 days. Therefore we recommend you order as early as possible so you can be sure you get your items in plenty of time for you to wrap them up.

Additionally, we are taking part in various events during November and December which may mean we are unable to process your order in our usual timescale. Between 1st and 18th November we will only be posting orders on Mondays and Tuesdays. If your order is urgent - a birthday or anniversary present rather than a Christmas present, please let us know and we will make every effort to process the order and get the goods to you sooner.

Non-UK Customers:

Customers outside of the UK will have their order shipped by Royal Mail's International Standard service. The cost for delivery depends on the weight of the goods you are purchasing, and ranges from £2 to £20 - you can see the exact cost of shipping in the Shopping Basket before you checkout.

We recommend you order before 30 November if you require any items for Christmas delivery outside the UK.

We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase, however to ensure that you are completely satisfied Accessory Fair offers a "no quibbles" 14-day returns policy.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then you can return it to us for a refund or replacement.

For more details see our Returns & Refunds page.

Extended Christmas Returns

We realise that our normal 14-day returns period isn't much use if you're buying a Christmas present for someone a month before the big day. What if they don't like it, or it doesn't fit??

For this reason we have extended our standard returns period for Christmas gifts, and you now have until the 8th January 2019 to return any gifts that you have purchased.

And don't forget that this is a 'no quibbles' guarantee - so if, for any reason, it isn't suitable, feel free to send it back to us for a refund or replacement.
