Cool Trade Winds are a small fair trade importer based in Hampshire. We stumbled across them at a trade fair in February 2012, and were immediately drawn by the contemporary designs and high quality of their scarves (and they are a nice bunch of people too!)
Their scarves come in a variety of luxurious materials, including silk, cashmere and merino wool, and they produce great looking scarves that will complement your wardrobe perfectly.
What Cool Trade Winds say about themselves…
We are importers and distributors of Fair Trade scarves and accessories.
Our Mission:
"To be proud supporters of Fair Trade not aid! Through our trade with social welfare factories and small family run businesses, we ensure that the artisans, who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds in developing countries, can support their families and are treated with dignity and the respect they deserve. These are talented women who are keeping alive traditional skills that would otherwise be lost."
Established over 10 years ago, Cool Trade Winds is entering an exciting new era following founder Patricia Vignerswaren's decision to retire and sell the business to Natalie Ball. Natalie is actively promoting the company ethos that all of the products sourced should be fun, colourful, unique and above all ethically sourced and using 100% natural fibres or natural fibre blends.
