Our Commitment Once you have made a purchase from Accessory Fair our commitment is to get your goods to you as quickly as possible and in perfect condition. Delivery Options & Costs UK Delivery We have three delivery options within the UK: UK FREE – with our standard UK delivery option your goods will be sent free of charge by Royal Mail 2nd Class mail. Contrary to what you might have heard, this is actually a very reliable service, and the vast majority of packages arrive 2 to 3 working days after posting (however this is not guaranteed). UK 1st - if you would like your purchase to arrive a little quicker, you can upgrade your delivery to Royal Mail 1st Class for only 50p. Purchases using this service usually arrive the next working day (although, again, this is not guaranteed). UK Premium – for an additional £5.50 you can upgrade to Royal Mail's Special Delivery Next Day service, which is fully tracked and guarantees delivery by 1pm the following working day (Monday to Friday).* Please note that a signature is required when receiving a Special Delivery package, so please ensure that there will be someone at home to take delivery. * (Unfortunately this guaranteed delivery time is later to some parts of the Scottish Highlands and some outlying islands of the UK. You can check the delivery guarantee to your specific postcode on the Royal Mail website here. Alternatively, feel free to contact us for more precise information about delivery times to these areas). If you spend £50 or more, and we will upgrade your delivery, free of charge, to our UK Premium delivery service. If you are sending a package to a BFPO address, please use the UK Free option. Outside the UK Standard – our standard method of delivery to customers outside of the UK is Royal Mail Airmail. The price for this service is calculated based on the weight of the goods you are buying, and ranges from £2 to £20. You can see the exact cost of shipping in the Shopping Basket before you check out. Premium – you have the option to upgrade your delivery to Royal Mail’s International Signed For service for an additional fee of £5.50. With this option a signature is required on delivery. Please be aware that all items will need to clear customs when entering your country. We will ensure that your purchase is packaged correctly to clear customs. Whilst it is unusual for the items sold by Accessory Fair to encounter charges, regulations are different in every country and therefore we cannot be responsible for any customs charges or import duties that might be levied on your purchase. If you are concerned about possible charges which might be levied you should check with the customs authority in the country you live before purchasing. When will you send my order? We only sell items that we currently have in stock, and therefore you can be assured that your purchase will be available for immediate dispatch as soon as you have paid (see our Payments page for available payment options). As part of our daily routine (yes, we are creatures of habit!), we process all of our orders immediately after lunch, and aim to have all orders in the postal system by 3pm at the latest. This means that any orders received by 2pm (Monday to Friday) will usually be sent out that same day, and orders received after 2pm will be posted the next working day. You will receive an automated email shortly after we have posted your order to confirm that it is on its way. When can I expect my order to arrive? UK FREE packages usually arrive 2 to 3 working days after posting (Monday to Saturday). UK 1st packages usually arrive the next working day after posting (Monday to Saturday). UK Premium delivery is guaranteed by 1pm the next working day after posting (Monday to Friday). The time taken to deliver packages sent outside of the UK will depend on the destination. The estimated time for delivery is as follows: Western Europe – within 3 working days Eastern Europe – within 5 working days Rest of the world – within 7 working days How will my order be packaged? This will depend on the contents and size of your order. All purchases are packaged either in strong, environmentally friendly, waterproof mail sacks or bubble-lined envelopes. We are well practiced in ensuring that your order will reach you in perfect condition; however as part of our commitment to minimising our environmental impact we don’t go over the top on packaging. There’s no need to worry though – in five years of trading we haven’t had any orders which have been damaged in the post. What if my order doesn’t arrive? It is very rare for any of our packages to go missing in the mail system, however (as much as we would like it to be) no delivery service is perfect. If you think that your order has been lost in the post then we would, in the first instance, ask you to be patient, as in the majority of cases it has just been delayed en-route. It is often worth checking if your package has been left with a neighbour, or returned to your local delivery office – even if no card has been left. If you have paid for UK Premium shipping and your purchase does not arrive in the time expected, please contact us by phone or email and we will track it immediately and let you know what is happening. For customers using our UK FREE and UK 1st options - if your purchase still hasn’t arrived 15 working days after it was posted then we will assume that it has been lost and we will give you either a full refund or send you a replacement item, as you wish. Please note that for orders sent to Europe we will wait 20 working days before assuming that a package has been lost, and for purchases sent to the rest of the world, 25 working days. |
