Next Monday is when the latest Royal Mail price increases take effect, and these large increases have meant that we have had to do some serious thinking! You may remember that there were also large increases in the cost of mailing packages last year, however we decided that we would absorb those – but unfortunately we cannot afford to absorb them again this year. We do not, however, want to increase our prices – so we got our calculators out and produced a fancy spreadsheet which showed that we could keep our prices the same by changing our free UK postage to 2nd class post from 1st class. Whilst this means purchases will be delivered in 2-3 days instead of 1 day, it does allow us to keep our prices on hold.
