Chiffon Scarf (Green & Red Flower)

This gorgeous chiffon scarf is stylish, lightweight and fair trade - the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.

Handmade in Vietnam, the scarf is made from lovely soft wrinkle finish Chiffon, and has a colourful floral design. The scarf also features wonderful Black net detailing, approx. 2cm wide, around the edges. Although the scarf is multi-coloured, the dominant colours are Green, Red and Yellow.

The scarf is quite long and narrow, and is light-weight and breathable - just the thing to add a bit of summer colour to your outfit.

Earth Squared has been working closely with a fair trade company based in Northern Vietnam for the past 10 years. We work together to ensure fair trade criteria are embedded into everyday working life.

Almost all of the artisans who make the products were originally rice farmers earning a subsistent, irregular and inconsistent wage. Working as a seamstress a woman can earn a good standard of living and also send their children to school and on to higher education. In addition our partners pay national insurance for each staff member that covers medical costs and provides a pension for retirement all of which is above the national legal requirements. The working conditions at the workshops are clean and safe and the staff have regular breaks and days off work.

The company give disadvantaged women the opportunity and support to improve their lives through secure work, training and a healthy working life giving them financial security and self-confidence. Each purchase helps us all to create more work opportunities for other disadvantaged women and change their lives and those of their families.

Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery is FREE in the UK, and your purchase should arrive 2 to 3 working days after posting (although this is not guaranteed). For only 50p extra you can upgrade to Royal Mail 1st Class, which usually delivers the next working day (although, again, this is not guaranteed).

If you would prefer a guaranteed next day delivery, you can upgrade to the Royal Mail's Special Delivery service at a cost of £5.50. This service is fully tracked and guarantees delivery of your purchase before 1pm on the next working day (Monday to Friday). If you spend £50 or more you will be automatically upgraded, free of charge, to our Next Day delivery service.

We only sell items that we have in stock, and therefore your purchase will be ready for immediate dispatch. Orders placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday) will be shipped the same day, and orders placed after this time will be sent the next working day.

Non-UK Customers:

Customers outside of the UK will have their order shipped by Royal Mail's Airmail service. The cost for delivery depends on the weight of the goods you are purchasing, and ranges from £2 to £20 - you can see the exact cost of shipping in the Shopping Basket before you checkout. Non-UK customers have the option to upgrade the delivery service to Royal Mail's International Signed For service, for an additional fee of £5.50.

Estimated delivery times are 3 days to Western Europe, and up to 7 days for the Rest of the World.

We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase, however to ensure that you are completely satisfied Accessory Fair offers a "no quibbles" 14-day returns policy.
